Preaching: A Love Story

People have always been shaped by story. Our behaviors, convictions, and character flow out of larger narratives that ground us in this world. As believers, we find a story that is so compelling and convincing that we are willing to order our lives around its central character and themes: a story full of drama and suspense, triumph and defeat, exile and redemption. It is a story that at its very core is a love story between the creator and human beings. This is the story that we tell over and over again in the preaching of God's Word.

It is our hope and prayer that when you come into our doors on any given Sunday, you will walk away having encountered not only the story of Jesus of Nazareth, but also the one whom the story is all about!
