Children’s ministry
Welcome to BOCC Children’s Ministry! Our commitment to parents and children is to teach the Bible through age-appropriate activities and lessons that capitalize on every learning opportunity. We learn God’s word through song, storytelling, videos, recitation/memory verses, object lessons, and art!
The Children’s Ministry mission is to build a biblical foundation for children from birth through 5th grade. As children participate in BOCC Children’s Ministry, they will be given the opportunity to start a life-changing relationship with Jesus Christ and develop into the leaders that God created them to be.
Your child’s spiritual growth is a partnership! We know that a parent’s role in faith development is crucial. We want to come alongside you – encourage you – and be your biggest cheerleader as you work to raise your child to be a faithful follower of Jesus Christ. We will do what we can to enrich your child’s faith journey.
We provide Sunday morning and Wednesday night Bible classes for all ages through the love and hard work of our church member volunteers. We also hold Children’s Worship on Sunday mornings (Sept-May) for ages 2 ½ through Pre-Kindergarten. To ensure a safe, nurturing environment where kids see living examples of Christ-followers, all volunteers have completed a Child & Youth Protection Policy, a background check, and approval to teach by the Children’s Minister.
