We are so happy to have you join us this Sunday! Take a look around and make your self comfortable. We look forward to meeting you soon.
When You Arrive
Our main entrance is off north Lamar, between Yager and Braker Lane. When you turn in, you will see many buildings before you reach visitor parking. This is because we own and operate Brentwood Christian School. Follow the signs to the middle of our campus where our visitor parking is located. Take the sidewalk that goes under our “Welcome to Brentwood Oaks” sign back to our main building (building A). There you will find friendly people ready to help direct you to the right place. Bible classes on Sundays start at 9 AM and our worship begins at 10:15, lasting about an hour and fifteen minutes.
Our Assemblies and worship
We’re here to worship, encourage one another, and praise our God. We’re not here to impress people. You will see people of all sorts: young, old, and in between, dressed in jeans to suits, and all enjoying being together. You will generally see few t-shirts or ties, not that we worry about either.
At Brentwood Oaks, we sing songs a cappella together and we celebrate the Lord’s supper every week. During our worship time, we sing, pray, and listen to a sermon. On the first Sunday of each month from October through May, we share a meal together following our worship assembly and you are invited to share in delicious food and encouraging fellowship. It will cost you nothing but your time. Nearly every other Sunday, year round, we host a smaller luncheon for visitors. We hope you will stay and have lunch with us in our Family Life Center. It’s a great way to get to know a few people better, so stay and enjoy lunch with us.
Our Sunday evening gatherings vary both in times and locations. On the first Sunday of the month we do not assemble at Brentwood Oaks, choosing rather to spend the evening at home with our families. On the second and fourth Sunday of the month, we gather in home groups. On the third Sunday of the month, we gather at Brentwood Oaks at 5 PM to worship together. Fifth Sunday evenings bring the opportunity to encourage racial harmony as we worship with area Churches of Christ in racially diverse settings.
