We all know that the Magi traveled the most number of miles, but every person in the Christmas story had to travel or move in some way (emotionally, culturally, religiously) in order to accept Jesus’ birth and acknowledge him as King. The application is that there are some in the audience who may not have made that journey and there are others who haven’t traveled very far since we made that confession. Matthew says that the Magi returned to their country a different way. Our encounter with our King should cause us to lead our lives in different ways too.
Join us as our speaker, Carmen Tyler, helps us explore how far we would go to encounter the King.
This is a FREE event! Coffee, snacks, and lunch will be provided. The main program will be held in the Youth Center (building D), and the lunch will be in the parlor (building A).
